Thank you and Goodbye ARMA

DigoAlmino

I know i should of done this earlier but @Neejrow loves dinglish. We just removed the ArmA channel from ts since well no one plays it and since the lack of interest/activity cause us to pull the plug and not intend to push forward with it. But through the years with ArmA 3 we had some great runs that people enjoyed and scream like the zombie events or the slaughter of ISIS/Taliban. One of the main reason for it not being huge as PS2 is because of the mods required to get what we wanted to play and enjoy (gigabytes of them haha).

I do like to thank those who did and try to put effort into the franchise to get another side of the community going but sadly wasn't successful :( . I know i did myself put many hours into it developing maps and missions for the community to play so it was hard to let it go for myself because of all the work I did. But after a few Coke & Scotches i forgot all about my work haha.

Anyway like i said thank you for those who did smash the game with me and pull some hectic missions and operations for others to play.

Now is this the end of Modern Warfare/Military team work, fuck no. BHQ staff members understand the reason why ArmA wasn't a big hit but we know one game will be at the end of the year SQUAD. We have agreed and we will be beginning that title once it is release, it is made by those who made Project Reality in BF2 (Which is a standalone title now and free). For those who have no idea its mix between Battlefield and ARMA. PvP combat on a large scale 50v50 battlefield with Infantry, Ground Vehicles and Air.

We are looking forward to this title (I am personally) and I know we can deliver some great things and new members to the community.

Thanks for your many hours of work on getting maps up Digo. Thanks also to our mysterious server hosts who did a large amount of work getting the servers up and running, and maintaining them, all to ensure a game they had no interest in was online and available for SOCA.

I really enjoyed playing the game with you guys, it's just a shame things didn't get off the ground again properly. Hopefully squad delivers.

You wouldnt have a server lying around if you didnt enjoy tinkering and getting things working! Thanks to the mysterious server hoster.

Arma had its moments for me but i could see from a distance the effort it took to run a successful op, thanks to digo for coding missions and making maps and thanks to Brimmer for running operations while i was playing.

It was a great shame but these things happen in life. Perhaps given some different critical decisions it would have taken a different course.

Cheers Section.

I just realised today that I bought your ARMA 3 copy @MolotovAssassin back when you were poor. I now feel very guilty, for I am responsible for you playing on a shitty server with shitty admins.

I brought that upon myself really. Luckily I have no trouble in King of the Hill or Wasteland, must be a hint in there somewhere. No matter what game you play, be it LiF, ARMA or anything with MP servers hosted by people you get plenty of shitty Admins. It is just the way of the internet. The shitlords normally become very obsessed with how awesome they are because they own the server, which causes trouble.

It should be some consolation that your investment is well utilised, I have breached 2,000 hours on ARMA 3 which is pretty tragic but at least it isn't as bad as some of you lads in PS2 ;)

Damn straight Molly, best investment ever. Aren't you one of the shitty admins that believes you own the server? I'm sure that's you. You keep boasting about how important you are :D

I am indeed a shitty admin, because I quit just like I quit Captain :P I am very good at walking away it seems! Happens in real life too, I told that to Sarah but she still was all upset about it, dunno why, it wasn't working and she knew it. At least she wasn't as crazy as the last.

While I may not be a staff member or anyone of import really, I still have good friends all over the place on all kinds of servers. It is amazing what you can get done if you know the right people :D
