    1. Download Jedi Academy from HERE
    2. Extract the files from the .rar to anywhere on your PC (you will need WINrar for this)
    3. (This step can be skipped if you already have a virtual drive program that can mount .nrg files)
Install WinCDEmu (This will allow you to mount the .nrg image files for Jedi Academy) Click Install when the popup asks you about Storage Controllers.

    4. Once WinCDEmu has been installed, you will now have a new option when right clicking CD/DVD image files that says 'Select drive letter & mount'. Right click CD 1 (Stawars Jedi Knight - Jedi Academy_1.nrg) and select this new option.
    5. Mount the image (leave drive letter as default V:)
    6. Navigate to your new virtual drive in My Computer and open it. Inside you will see JediAcademy.exe, click this and click the Install button on the popup.
    7. Run through the installer
    8. It will ask you to insert Disc 2. Follow step 5 again but this time mount Disc 2. Select browse and locate the Gamedata folder under Disc 2. Then click OK on the 'Setup Needs the Next Disk' prompt.
    9. Installation Should be completed. Close this window
    10. Run the JKAcademy1_01.exe Patch (update)
    11. Once the game is patched try to run Multiplayer Game. There is no requirement to use the crack in the crack folder, that is only for Single Player. When prompted,  Select never register.
    12. Go to browse servers and if you are running windows firewall it will prompt you to allow access. Click Allow Access to private networks.Firewall.png
    13. If you would like a proper screen resolution when playing (as this is an old game and does not support default resolutions) then please download this file. Once downloaded, extract the autoexec.cfg file to your \LucasArts\Star Wars Jedi Knight Jedi Academy\GameData\base folder. This file is defaulted to a resolution of 1920x1080. If that is not your screens resolution, you will need to open the file using Notepad and modify the seta r_customwidth and seta r_customheight to reflect your own resolution. Save when done.

    1. If you receive an error (VM_create) please go in to your installation folder and go to Gamedata folder. Right click on jamp.exe and go to properties. Click the Compatibility tab and make sure it is set to 'Run this program as an administrator'
    2. If your game crashes to desktop after launching and does not display any errors in the Jedi Knight Academy MP Console, please download this file and extract the files to somewhere on your PC. Then go in to the gldirect5\bin\release folder and copy the file opengl32.dll and the paste it into your \LucasArts\Star Wars Jedi Knight Jedi Academy\GameData\ folder. Then try launch the game.
